Where to go?
Well. this depends largely on your budget! Of course we would all love to go to Barbados and St Bart’s, but for most of us the budget isn’t going to stretch that far.
The Canary Islands are a little closer to home and although technically part of Spain these islands lie 100km to the west of North Africa and offer and endless Spring / Summer season. There’s beautiful beaches and volcanic landscapes if you stray out of the tourist traps
Morocco is an increasingly popular destination and served well by tour operators. More of a cultural holiday then the Canary Islands and a much wider area to explore full of exotic culture. With temperatures similar to the Canary Islands you’re almost guaranteed 20 degrees plus all year round.
Egypt boasts some of the worlds best diving with constant water temperatures all year round. This coupled with sights such as the Pyramids make it a very attractive winter sun destination
Tunisia is a liberal Islamic country with the bustling markets, architecture and cultural sites you might expect. Although cooler and fresher then other African resorts the miles and miles of sandy beaches are visitable all year round.
